BACKGROUND
The FSC Controlled Wood standard and trademark standards are undergoing multiple revisions. Additionally, PEFC is now introducing a resource-efficient and environmentally friendly auditing scheme, while retaining the robustness of the existing system. This includes the expansion of the PEFC Due Diligence System (DDS) to cover core sustainability issues.
Stakeholders will soon run out of time to implement the changes. To enable certificate holders to launch the transfer process, we will provide the latest advice and interpretations received from ASI and FSC since the standard has been published.
This webinar aims to update all chain of custody certificate holders, consultancies and other interested persons on the changes to the transition and implementation rules of the new FSC Controlled Wood Standard and to inform them of the recent FSC COC and PEFC COC standard revision processes.
The following topics will be discussed:
- FSC Chain of Custody: Experience from assessments against the new version (V4-0)
- FSC Controlled Wood: FSC Controlled Wood Strategy, new and expiring risk assessments
- FSC trademark standards: Revised requirements (V3-0), trademark self-management
- PEFC Chain of Custody standard revision process
