Promotional items are novel items intended to support, and promote, your brand. If you discover too late that your item is unsafe it can damage your brand.

 

Further to the success of our webinar series in 2017, SGS is reconducting them. After toys and apparel, this is the third and last webinar organised by SGS to walk you through the complex array of requirements.

Articles that are likely to come into contact with food may release chemical compounds in food that may be hazardous to the consumer.

 

It is this phenomenon of migration, that is, a transfer of constituents from the article to the food, which is studied and which must be in compliance with the various applicable standards and regulations.

 

Make sure you know what the European and French regulations say about the different materials (plastic, ceramic / glass, metal, paper ...) and join this web seminar to discover the materials that are the most at risk and the most controlled by the authorities.

 

The purpose of this webinar is to give a brief overview of EU food and drinkware requirements in relation to promotional items.

 

Pascale, who holds a PhD in chemistry, has 16 years experience in food contact materials. She is an active member of DGCCRF working group and the Internal technical committee for food contact materials.
